You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

My hard drive problems are no closer to being solved. In fact they might actually be a lot further away then when last I updated. The drive itself is probably shot. Fine. But what I really care about is the stuff that was on it. I could easily get the stuff back using recovery software... if my dad hadn't formated the drive (for reasons I still fail to understand). It would be fine if there were no problems with the drive. I could recover from the format easily. But of course, if there were no problems with the drive, I wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. So you see the bind I'm in.

I was able to recover a few things, but I'm still missing several other things that I wanted. Including my next few updates. Damn.

It's very frustrating because after working on this site for so long and getting it done, I was all ready to get back into doing artwork and writing articles and keeping things going. Of course now my thoughts are consumed by this lingering hard drive problem.

If anyone has been looking to contact me via e-mail or Instant Messenger I regret to say that I will be mostly unable to talk with you for the time being. The message board is the only way to talk to me for now until I get my computer back in order. That could take awhile.

This can not be good.

It just figures that this would happen now...

My secondary hard drive is being bad. It doesn't want to play nicely with the rest of the computer.

All my cool stuff is on there. I fear that it could be lost.

What is worse is that I don't know what happened. This drive couldn't be more than 6 months old. A virus? A defect? Skynet? I don't think I did anything wrong. It just doesn't seem fair.

I have some backups, but not everything. Much of what is really worth saving isn't even a week old. It'll sting a lot to lose this stuff.

But I think the worse thing is that I was just starting to make some moves in regard to getting employment. Things were actually looking up after working on this site so hard all summer. This is a major set back. Hopefully I won't have to start back up at square one. Untill I know for sure, don't expect me to be a very happy ninja.

I shot the serif!

Earlier I was looking at this site on a different computer and I was finally fed up on how terrible the text looked there. Of course, my regular computer has IE set with a default Arial font. Others might not have it like that. And for years I just thought that everyone else's computer sucks except mine. Not to mention other browsers. Well apparently to get things looking how I wanted, I had to go into each and every page and add the Style Sheet code to make everything Arial. So if everything looks different to you now, that is why. If not, then you can ignore this. I just hated how the serif fonts looked around here. Damn typography class, what have you done to me?

After recently seeing Terminator 3, I've started a thread on the 2003 Summer Movies. Why not stop by the message board and let everyone know what you've got to say about the films you've seen so far?

On a related note, special thanks to everyone who has been participating on the board so far. It really does mean a lot to have you all there. Let's hope that things continue to pick up!

Return of the Electric Blue Ninja!

Wow. I'm done. I'm actually finished this freakin' website. And it only took me a year. Unbelievable.

Yep, it has been exactly one year to the day when I last added new content to SykoGrafix. Aside from a brief update in Januaray, there has been nothing new until now. In previous updates I had spoken multiple times of a new design, including saying that there would be no further updates until said design was ready.

What you see before you now are the fruits of that maddening labor.

For the rundown on what's new with SykoGrafix, see the Latest Updates page.

Ok, so this is the weblog, where I get to talk about whatever. I'll probably update it on a fairly frequent pace. Not daily, but probably more frequently than the rest of the site.

What to say now? Hmm. Perhaps I'll talk about the last year.

I finished my second year at the Ontario College of Art and Design. I am not very happy about how it went, and I am re-evaluating my options. I hate to say that, though, because I met a lot of great people who have become very good friends of mine.

Currently I am hoping to get a job as a comic book colourist. Part of the reason (but not the whole reason) I had such a tough time at school last year was because it really hurt being forced to sit on the sidelines and wait for all of that to be over so I could do what I really wanted. I need to be a part of the action and I'm willing to do what it takes to get there. I was trying very hard to bring focus to my life but school was taking away from that. I hope that this site will help me obtain what I'm after. Sink or swim, I'm going to try until I get it.

I was at Anime North 2003, which you can read about here. I was also at TransformersCon, but I didn't have a camera so no report on that other than I had a good time.

I cut my hair. Shocking, yes, I know. The long blond tendrils, and everything else, have been reduced to a simple fuzz now residing happily underneath a bandana.

Things that I like: The new TMNT TV show on the Fox Box, Shonen Jump, Super Mario Sunshine, Transformers Armada, Transformers: The War Within, Transformers G1 Volume 2, Marvel Mangaverse, Ultraman Tiga, the Evangelion movies, Gamera, The Hulk, Matrix Reloaded, X-2, Game Boy Advance SP, and some other stuff.

Things that I hate: The jackass who signed my guestbook right before I switched over to the "It'll be back soon" message who said how bad my artwork is, then challenged me to e-mail him so he could teach me a thing or two, but didn't even leave an address. What an idiot. But I'll get to that, and similar topics, another time.

Please take a good look around and let me know what you think about SykoGrafix. I'm especially hopeful that the message board will be seeing a lot of activity, so please sign up and post! I might just put something special up there every once and awhile before it makes its way to the main site, so by all means, make yourself a part of what is sure to be an amazing community.

More will come soon, but for now I leave you with this single question.

Who can destroy Ninjatron?

1, 2, is this thing on?

This is a test of the Ninja Broadcasting System. Please stand by for further information.
